Before we start our day, we line up our collection of vitamins to be ingested with the latest breakfast beverage.
We know our vitamins help support a healthy immune system and provide nutrients to the body. They can benefit our skin in many ways topically which is why we add natural ingredients in our Indulge Pure Originals lotions and body creams. Vitamins are added universally to cosmetics and skincare products for their potent penetration into the skin by way of lipids (tiny missiles transporting vitamins to go into our skin) Vitamins are required in our diet to allow us to remain healthy giving us more of what we are not able to get in our food. According to Karen Asquith, director of education at G.M. Collin says, “Vitamins in skincare help moisturize the skin, stimulate collagen, refine the surface of the skin, suppress the production of melanin, and provide anti-inflammatory benefits.
The most popular vitamins in facials and spa treatments used in the spas today are A, B, C, D, E, F, and K. These can be moved into the skin by use of mechanical manipulation such as hand massaged or by use of galvanic current that use electrical high frequency currents to drive these more potent ingredients into the skin deeper when the pores are opened through thorough cleansing and through the use of creams, lotions, and serums to carry the vitamins deeper. I know that we at Indulge Salon, York Pa, use Rhonda Allison brand in addition to Guinot advanced skin care products with our spa facials and treatments to help treat the skin by way of customizing with vitamins. The added vitamins really help drive better performance of the products used. For more information on spa’s and facial treatments click here
